STORE SUBMISSION MANAGER

Disclaimers and Important Usage Information

Review these limitations before using Store Submission Manager to change or submit production data.

Effective date: 3 October 2026

Third-party service dependency

Store Submission Manager depends on services operated by Microsoft, including Microsoft Partner Center, the Microsoft Store Submission API, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Store licensing, and Store-provided upload endpoints.

The app may stop working, work only partially, or return delayed or incomplete information when these services are unavailable, degraded, throttled, changed, deprecated, or restricted. Ship to Store does not control these services and cannot guarantee their availability, response times, compatibility, or continued operation.

API limitations and Partner Center differences

The APIs used by the app do not expose every Partner Center feature and do not always represent Partner Center data completely. Some settings and actions must be completed directly in Partner Center, including certain privacy-policy, genre, age-rating, audience, publishing, and release operations.

API-created drafts and Partner Center-created drafts can behave differently. Some drafts cannot be updated, committed, or deleted through the API. Private audience information and submission history may also be incomplete or unavailable through the API.

Always verify important settings, submission status, certification status, and published results in Partner Center.

Your responsibility for data and backups

You are responsible for maintaining independent copies of all important information entered, imported, edited, or uploaded through the app. This includes submission JSON, listing text, images, packages, pricing and market settings, flight configuration, add-on information, and supporting records.

Local drafts and recovery data are stored only for convenience. They are not a backup service and are not synchronized to another device or Windows user. Resetting or uninstalling the app, clearing app data, deleting local files, losing access to the Windows profile, storage failure, or software defects may permanently remove this information.

Export important JSON and retain original files before committing, deleting, replacing, or otherwise changing production data.

Destructive and irreversible operations

The app can initiate actions that affect live Partner Center resources, including creating, updating, committing, canceling, replacing, and deleting submissions, packages, flights, listings, and add-ons. Some actions cannot be reversed by Store Submission Manager.

The app's local recycle-bin and recovery features are limited. For example, retained deletion snapshots expire after seven days and do not automatically restore an object deleted from Partner Center. Review all confirmations and verify the selected account, product, submission, markets, and files before proceeding.

Cached, delayed, and incomplete information

The app may display encrypted cached responses or locally observed activity. Cached or displayed information may not reflect recent changes made from Partner Center, another device, another user, or another tool.

The Store Submission API does not provide a complete historical submission feed. Use the explicit refresh action for status-sensitive work and verify critical information with the authoritative Microsoft service.

Throttling, retries, and duplicate-operation risk

Microsoft may throttle API requests without publishing a fixed request limit. Some safe operations are retried, but create-style operations are not automatically replayed because doing so could create duplicate resources. Avoid repeatedly selecting the same command while an operation or throttling countdown is in progress.

Pricing, markets, analytics, and reference information

Price-tier conversions, currency amounts, analytics, market information, and other reference data may be delayed, estimated, packaged with the app, or limited by the API. They are not a guarantee of the final customer price, revenue, availability, certification result, or commercial outcome.

Store Submission Manager does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, regulatory, or business advice. You are responsible for checking applicable laws, Microsoft policies, pricing, tax obligations, age ratings, privacy requirements, and market-specific rules.

Accounts, credentials, and authorization

You are responsible for protecting your Partner Center and Microsoft Entra credentials, granting only required permissions, rotating secrets when appropriate, and ensuring that every person using the app is authorized to access and change the connected account.

Exported diagnostics and submission files can contain non-secret business data. Review and protect them before sharing.

Paid features and Microsoft Store licensing

Paid features depend on a valid Microsoft Store license and the Store account signed in on the device. License checks, purchases, refunds, expiration, and entitlement availability are handled by Microsoft and may be affected by Store service availability and Microsoft terms.

No warranty

Store Submission Manager is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ship to Store disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, availability, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, data preservation, and error-free operation.

Ship to Store does not warrant that the app will prevent submission errors, certification failures, data loss, duplicate operations, interrupted uploads, incorrect configuration, or unintended Partner Center changes.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ship to Store will not be liable for loss or corruption of data, lost submissions, lost revenue, lost profits, business interruption, certification or publishing delays, account restrictions, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of, or inability to use, the app.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

No affiliation or endorsement

Ship to Store and Store Submission Manager are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft. Microsoft, Microsoft Store, Partner Center, Windows, and Microsoft Entra are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.

Changes to these disclaimers

These disclaimers may be updated when the app, Microsoft services, applicable requirements, or known limitations change. The effective date will be revised when material updates are published.
